Tuition Fees

Our Training rates are amazing, compared to other training companies and considering the level of expertise and training we provide. Most training companies do not tell you up-front what they will charge you! We, however, feel that it's more convenient for everybody if all cards are on the table. We think you'll agree.

Our tuition fees are based on the number of students, distance, equipment considerations, and time-frame of your needs. These are our general policies and rates; please contact us for a quote customized to your needs.

4-6 hr Hands-On Computer Training Courses:	$197 per student, plus $15 per student course materials fee, for 1-5 students. For 6-12 students, price remains at an amazing flat fee of $1197 per day, plus $15 per student course materials fee. Feel free to contact us for a quote for larger groups.
Business and Soft-Skills courses:	$297 per student, per day of instruction, plus $15 per student course materials fee, for 1-5 students. For 6-12 students, price remains at an amazing flat fee of $1797 per day, plus $15 per student course materials fee. Feel free to contact us for a quote for larger groups.
One-on-One Sessions:	Custom One-on-One training sessions are available at $127 per hour, 2-hour minimum; additional hours for the same session at $97 per hour.
Observational Training Demonstrations:	For training demonstrations in which our instructor demonstrates the software on an overhead projector while your people observe only, the charge is $197 per hour of training, for up to 12 students, with a 3-hour minimum. Please contact us for a quote for larger groups.
Special/Custom Classes:	Courses may be customized to your outline for an additional fee of $97.
Volume Discounts on Computer Training Courses:	If you book 5 or more classes at a time, we can offer a volume discount for normal classes of $187 per student, for 1-5 students, plus $15 per student course materials fee. For 6-12 students, price remains at an amazing flat fee of $1127 per day, plus $15 per student course materials fee. Volume discounts for large groups and/or larger volume of courses booked are also available; please contact us to discuss your needs. All other rates will still apply.

Equipment Rentals:	To be determined, depending on your needs.
Courseware:	Each student receives a course instruction manual with the course. Additional courseware is available at $27 each for most courses; please enquire for specifics.
Blended Learning Options (Online Tutorials):	For groups of 10 or more we are pleased to offer an additional support for our courses: 90-days of FREE online tutorials and courseware support for each student! Available to smaller groups for an additional $197 fee per course; please contact us in advance to order.
Learning Guides:	We have developed some fantastic learning guides for Microsoft Office 2000 and Office 2007; click here for specifics!
Consulting:	On-site consulting will be billed at $127 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum. Mileage and other fees may apply, as stated in this document.
Needs Determination:	Telephone consultations for needs determinations are free. On-site meetings for needs-determination are billed at $127 per hour.
Telephone Support:	Billed at $97 per hour; ½-hour minimum charge applies.
Mileage:	Waived for courses located in Orange County, CA. $.65/mile for other locations within 100-mile radius, using PC Training Experts’ office as starting point.
Out of Town Engagements:	"Out of town engagements" are defined as farther than 100 miles from our office in Costa Mesa, requiring hotel stay. Rates are the same as local courses plus an additional $397 per day. We also require clients to cover the cost of suitable transportation and lodging. Travel days are billed at $500 per day.
Emergency Coverage:	$297 in addition to normal class rate, where "emergency coverage" is defined as 24 hrs or less notice for class
On-Call/Standby:	You may reserve our services for a particular day “just in case” you need us for $297. This charge will be waived if you use us for the day, and only billed if you ultimately cancel the request.
Followup Support:	We provide 30-days of complimentary email support to all students, for topics covered in the course! Additional support is available via email or telephone for a fee. Please enquire for details on telephone support.
Class Cancellations:	72 hrs prior to class: $297 cancellation fee if class is not rescheduled; $197 with rescheduling
	24 hrs or less prior to class: $497 cancellation fee if class is not rescheduled; $297 with rescheduling
	On the day of the class: Cancellation fee equal to the intended rate for the class
Change of Venue:	Occasionally we are given wrong directions to a client’s. In the rare event this happens, there will be a nominal $97 charge for change of venue, plus mileage and any extended driving rates this may incur. We shall not be held responsible for any late, missed, or cancelled classes due to such occurrence. Billing will occur as if class occurred on time without trouble, with the change of venue fee.
Preparation Time:	Occasionally we are asked to teach a novel or obscure class, or one with which we are totally unfamiliar. In this case, there will be a preparation fee charge of $347 in addition to the class rate.
Additional Services:	From time to time, a client may request an additional service from us, without adequate time to negotiate a fair rate. If a client requests an additional service from us, and we perform this service, before having a chance to discuss the rate of this service, we reserve the right to add an additional, reasonable charge, for the service. This shall serve as advance notice for all such requests.
Payment Terms:	Payment is required in advance of training, or on the day of training. Clients who establish a working relationship of at least 6 months’ duration with PC Training Experts may apply for terms. Invoices past due will incur late fees, as noted at the bottom of each invoice.
All changes in schedule must be confirmed. Without email and/or voice confirmation that the schedule change was received, no class will be considered booked, cancelled, or changed and billing will proceed as previously agreed. This protects both your interests, and PC Training Expert’s interests!
